John is publicity co- ordinator for Sheffield U3A. Having moved to Sheffield in the last few years he is convinced that Sheffield u3a is able to make a major contribution to people’s lives in retirement.

He personally takes advantage of both its outdoor and learning activities and finds that the social contacts made give an added dimension to an already busy life.
